Pathway To Choice is proud to provide CPI training to its staff. We guarantee "Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security" to our consumer and train our staff to treat them properly and with respect. All PTC staff are trained to recognize the early sign of crisis development and safely respond without overreacting or under reacting to the level of behavior. We want to keep the consumers safe and our staff as well in our crisis prevention program. Pathway To Choices value the relationships build with the consumer, therefore it is import nat to us to assure that the latter are not severed by any crisis that may arise but rather strengthened and renewed. Pathway To Choices commits to uphold the CPI training standards and train our staff to be CPI fit.

"Before, I worked in different areas of the social service field. For the last 2 years I have been one of Pathway to Choices Day Program Instructor, where I was given the opportunity to learn CPI Training. Personally, I prefer the methods learned with this training rather than physically restraining the consumers. At Pathway to Choices we use this method calming the consumers down. The training is provided to all staff and I have become a CPI Instructor. My main objective for this training is to ensure that all staff working with the consumers is prepared for any situation. I have received my training working at Pathway to Choices and now I am capable of teaching other instructors the CPI Training. "
