Juan B. Velasquez founded Pathway to Choices Inc. on December 24, 2002. The agency was
founded with the vision of providing more choices to people with developmental disabilities in
the area of Independent Living. After more than a year providing Independent Living Services,
Pathway to Choices Inc. saw the necessity to expand its services and provide Supported Living
Services and Competency Training as well. Our goal is to provide the best services to all our
consumers in order for them to fulfill their dreams and for them to exercise their rights to the
fullest. On January 1, 2006, Pathway to Choices Inc. became a corporation. Later that year,
Pathway to Choices Inc. opened Pathway to Choices Day Services, a site and community based
program for adults with developmental disabilities.
