"Pathway to Choices began as a personal decision to improve direct services for individuals with developmental disabilities. My experience at the San Francisco Juvenile Hall as a Youth Counselor for seventeen years gave me the ability to understand people. I worked with youth with mental illness and self-destructive behaviors. By helping them create personal goals, I was able to improve and impact their lives in a positive manner.

In 2002, Pathway to Choices was born.  I became involved with the different aspects of social services, and offered Supporting Living Skills (SLS) and Independent Living Skills (ILS) services to the community. Our agency's is currently made up of very good workers who care about other human beings and assist them to accomplish their goals. I see Pathway To Choices as a family, made of our consumers, employees and management. Our motto is to assist people in every possible way and invite anyone who is, or is involved with a person with disabilities to join the Pathway to Choices."
